Can the Person Who Cooks Your Food Change Your Energy?

Can the Person Who Cooks Your Food Change Your Energy
Abstract : This article examines the impact of a cook’s spiritual state, the cooking process, and the kitchen environment on the subtle energy of a meal. Through experiments using the Universal Aura Scanner, it demonstrates how food prepared by a spiritually pure (sattvik) individual can dramatically increase the positive aura and reduce negativity in both the food and the person consuming it. It emphasises that spiritually positive ingredients and a conducive environment are essential for infusing meals with beneficial vibrations, highlighting the profound impact of cooking beyond mere taste or nutritional value.

1. Introduction : Why the Cook Matters More Than You Think

When we think about what makes a meal good, we often consider taste, presentation, or nutritional value.
But have you ever wondered whether the cook can influence the subtle energy and vibrations of the food you eat? The thing about food is that, as it is directly ingested into your system, it has one of the fastest effects on your state of being and behaviour. Also, when your spiritual state is affected, what are the short-term and long-term impacts of this?

Spiritual research conducted by the Maharshi Adhyatma Vishwavidyalay at the Spiritual Research Centre and Ashram has demonstrated that food carries not only physical vibrations but also subtle ones. These vibrations of the meal are profoundly influenced by the spiritual state and level of the cook, the ingredients used, and the environment in which the food is prepared.

This article explores the interesting relationship between the cook and the positivity of the food they prepare, supported by experiments using the Universal Aura Scanner (UAS).

2. Understanding Aura and Spiritual Level

Before delving into the experiments, it’s essential to understand a few key concepts.

An “aura” is the subtle energy field surrounding any person or object, the nature of which is determined by their spiritual purity or impurity.

A person’s “spiritual level“, a term coined by Paratpar Guru Dr Athavale, signifies an individual’s ability to connect with the Divine. This level is assessed on a scale of 1% to 100%, with 70% and above denoting a Saint or Guru. The higher one’s spiritual level, the more positive their aura becomes. Our actions (decisions), thoughts, and environment continuously influence our aura. Positive vibrations attract positivity, whereas negative vibrations draw negativity.

3.1 The Universal Aura Scanner

The experiments were conducted using the Universal Aura Scanner (UAS)—a biofeedback instrument capable of measuring the subtle energy fields or auras of objects, food, and people in terms of :

  • Positive Aura (PA)
  • Negative Aura (IR and UV)

3.2 Introduction to the Head Chef of the Spiritual Research Centre and Ashram

One of the central figures in these experiments is Her Holiness (H.H.) Rekha Kankonkar, the head chef at the Spiritual Research Centre and Ashram in Goa, India. Although she has no formal culinary training, she has attained the spiritual level of a Saint (i.e., above 70%).

Her entire approach to cooking is that it serves as a medium for spiritual practice (sadhana) and a means of serving seekers (satseva) in the Ashram. She chants God’s Name while cooking and views food preparation as a form of spiritual service. Her spiritual purity, humility, and dedication result in meals charged with positive spiritual energy. When she cooks, Divine Energy flows through her into the food, significantly affecting the aura of the food and those who consume it.

4. Experiment : The Effect of the Cook on Food’s Aura – Dal from Three Restaurants

To demonstrate the impact of the cook, an experiment was conducted using three samples of Dal fry (lentils cooked in Indian style) obtained from three different kitchens, and each prepared by three different cooks :

Sample 1 : From a local restaurant.
Sample 2 : From a 5-star hotel restaurant.
Sample 3 : Prepared by Her Holiness Rekha Kankonkar at the Spiritual Research Centre and Ashram.

Comparing the spiritual vibrations from dal (lentils) from different cooks and kitchens
It is clear that the Dal from the five-star hotel (the most expensive) had the highest negative aura, followed by the Dal from the local restaurant. Only the Dal prepared by the Ashram chef exhibited no negative aura and a significant positive aura. This underscores that an expensive or fancy restaurant does not ensure a positive aura in its food.

Note about the UAS arms opening out 140 degrees : If the arms do not open out to a full 180° but still open to a certain extent, it can indicate the presence of some amount of positive vibrations; however, the extent of the aura cannot be measured. Only if the arms open out to the full 180° is it possible to measure the length of the positive aura, and to do so, the operator would begin stepping back slowly.

5. The Finished Dish is More Positive than Raw Ingredients

Another experiment compared the aura of raw cauliflower with a cauliflower fry dish prepared by Her Holiness Rekha Kankonkar (a chef at the spiritual level of a Saint) at the Spiritual Research Centre and Ashram kitchen.

Food/Dish Type 1 (IR)
Negative Aura
Type 2 (UV)
Negative Aura
Positive Aura
Raw Cauliflower 4.07 m 2.46 m 4.34 m
Cauliflower Fry 0 0 17.3 m

Usually, raw vegetables should have only a positive aura. However, given the increase in spiritual pollution (Raja-Tama vibrations) worldwide, crops get adversely affected by it and hence imbibe a negative aura.

The cooked cauliflower dish, prepared by Her Holiness Rekha Kankonkar (the head chef of the Ashram) in the positive environment of the Ashram kitchen, not only had no negative aura but also significantly enhanced the positive aura of the raw cauliflower, increasing it from 4.5 meters to 17.3 meters. This demonstrates the profound impact of the cook, the cooking process, and the kitchen environment on the positivity of a meal.

6. The Impact of Eating Food Cooked by a Saint

6.1 The Effect of Eating Dal Cooked by a Saint

A subject consumed Dal prepared by Her Holiness Rekha Kankonkar, and the following changes were observed in his aura :

  • Positive Aura : Increased by 160%
  • Negative Aura : Decreased by 85%

This experiment demonstrates how vegetarian food cooked by a sattvik cook (in this case, a Saint) can uplift the consumer’s aura and reduce negativity.

6.2 The Effect of Eating Sattvik Food Like Sabudana Khichdi Cooked by a Saint

Stock shot of Sabudana KhichdiStock shot of Sabudana Khichdi

Sabudana Khichdi, a dish associated with fasting, was prepared by Her Holiness Rekha Kankonkar. After consuming the dish, the subject’s aura showed :

  • Positive Aura : Increased by 205%
  • Negative Aura : Decreased by 86%

This reinforces the importance of Sattvik (spiritually pure) food in enhancing positivity and spiritual well-being. When sattvik food is prepared by a sattvik cook in a sattvik environment, the meal becomes significantly more positive and benefits the person who partakes of it.

In these experiments, we have demonstrated the positive impact of a chef who is a Saint both on the meal and the person partaking of that meal. Through this, we have shown what is possible at the upper end of the continuum (of the positivity detected in a meal) when the chef, the ingredients and the kitchen environment are all very spiritually pure (sattvik). The reality is that almost all of us will not have the privilege of partaking in a meal prepared by a chef who is also a Saint. The subtle vibrations of the meal will be affected by the combination of spiritual positivity or negativity present in the cook, the ingredients and the environment. This has been explained in further detail in the next section.

In other experiments, related to food, eating meat or drinking alcohol had an immediate and significant impact on a person’s aura, causing the person to imbibe negativity and erode positivity instantly. Prolonged eating of meat and drinking alcohol adversely affected a person’s mind and ability to grow spiritually.

7. How to Prepare a Meal with a Positive Aura

Based on spiritual research, preparing a meal with a positive aura involves three key factors : the ingredients, the chef, and the environment.

The criteria to prepare a spiritually positive meal
1. The Ingredients :

  • Avoid Meat, Fish, & Eggs : These ingredients inherently carry negative vibrations. Alcohol, too, will add to the negativity in the final meal. If such ingredients are used, regardless of the efforts made on other fronts, the meals will have negative vibrations.
  • Opt for Plant-Based : Vegetarian or plant-based meals are essential if you want the meal to have a positive aura.

2. The Chef :

  • Spiritually Pure : The cook’s spiritual purity (sattvikta) is a key component. The sattvikta of a cook increases with regular spiritual practice that adheres to the six basic principles of spiritual practice. The higher the spiritual level of a cook, the more likely the meal cooked by him or her would have positive vibrations.
  • No Negative Thoughts : The cook should have minimal negative thoughts, especially while cooking. A cook who exhibits more personality defects, such as anger, greed, and judgment, is more likely to have negative thoughts.
  • No Spiritual Distress : Ideally, the cook should not be experiencing spiritual distress. This implies that if a negative entity is affecting or possessing the cook, it will inevitably have an adverse spiritual impact on the meal.
  • Chant God’s Name : Chanting God’s Name while cooking significantly enhances the positivity of the food.
  • Less Ego : A humble attitude and lack of ego contribute positively to the vibrations of a meal. Pride in one’s ability as a cook will generate negative vibrations.
  • Love (ideally, unconditional love) : We often hear that a meal cooked with love and passion will result in a more flavorful and satisfying experience. However, while this may be true to some extent, when a chef has love that is without expectations, it helps to amplify the positivity in a meal.

3. The Environment :

The environment in the kitchen affects the vibrations and energy of the food

  • Spiritually Pure : The kitchen environment should be spiritually pure (sattvik). Cleanliness adds to the sattvik vibrations; however, it is not the only criterion. For example, if animals are slaughtered or meat is cooked in a kitchen, it will increase negativity in the environment, thus tainting all the food prepared. The personalities of the cooks also contribute to or detract from the positivity in the kitchen premises.
  • No Mixing Utensils : Avoid mixing utensils for vegetarian and non-vegetarian cooking, as this can transfer negativity.
  • Non-Toxic : A non-toxic and harmonious kitchen environment is essential for the meals to have positive vibrations. Shouting, abusing, and anxiety while cooking will have a negative effect on the food being prepared. Playing music that emits negative vibrations will also harm the food.

At the Spiritual Research Centre and Ashram (in Goa, India), extensive research into the spiritual dimension is conducted using the sixth sense at an advanced level. The subtle knowledge received by seekers in the spiritual research team is checked and finalised by Saints of the highest order. One medium of receiving Divine knowledge is in a visual format. Seekers who receive knowledge in this manner are known as subtle-drawing artists, and they can visually perceive the subtle process during an experiment or situation and draw what they perceive and feel. These drawings are akin to spiritual X-rays, offering the average person an unparalleled visual glimpse into the spiritual dimension.

The subtle picture below illustrates the positive subtle energies at play when rice and dal are cooked, adhering to all the right aspects and criteria mentioned above.

8. Concluding Thoughts

It is often said, ‘You are what you eat.’ This holds true not only at a physical level but also at a mental and spiritual level.

The cook, the cooking process, and the kitchen environment significantly influence whether a meal emits positive or negative vibrations. Chanting the Name of God while cooking can greatly enhance the food’s positivity and counteract environmental negativity. However, always ensure the ingredients themselves are spiritually positive. A spiritually positive diet has a profound impact on your health (physical and mental) and the well-being of your family. Cultivating a positive mind also boosts the positive energy flowing into the food from the cook. For further guidance, refer to “Start Your Spiritual Journey” and “The Personality Defect Removal Process as a spiritual practice.”

As a cook or chef, you bear the responsibility for the subtle energy ingested by those who partake of the meals you prepare. In addition to taste and presentation as criteria for a well-made meal, we hope this article aids you in understanding how to infuse spiritual positivity into your meals.
