6.1 How did you compare with the others doing this sixth sense experiment?

1. Independent reading

  Figure A Figure B
Pleasant
1934
2647
Unpleasant
2049
1409
Neutral
1263
1190
Total

5246

2. Compare

Which figure did you feel better looking at?
Figure A
2230
Figure B
3016
Total 5246

6.2 Answer

The two figures A and B represent two directions anticlockwise and clockwise respectively.

A B

A saattvik person with an activated sixth sense feels unpleasant looking at figure A (anticlockwise direction) and pleasant when looking at figure B (clockwise direction).

Refer to the article on sattva, raja and tama

6.3 The Spiritual science behind the experiment

1. Activation of the main spiritual energy (Kundalini) flow channels in the body:

  • When one’s eyes move in a clockwise direction the spiritual energy channel known as the ‘Ida naadi’ or the Moon channel gets activated. Activation of the ‘Ida naadi’ or the Moon channel causes an increase in the subtle basic sattva component (sattva guna), giving a calming experience.

  • When the eyes move in the anticlockwise direction the spiritual energy channel known as the \'Pingala naadi’ or the Sun channel gets activated. The Sun channel when activated increases the subtle basic raja-tama component. This gives us a discomforting feeling such as restlessness.

2. Divine frequencies naturally move in a clockwise direction:

  • Divine frequencies move in a clockwise direction and negative energies move in an anticlockwise direction. We benefit from the divine frequencies when we too move in a clockwise direction whereas we experience distress when we move in the anticlockwise direction.

  • When we move in a clockwise direction we get benefit of the saviour energy of God. When we move in the anticlockwise direction we get benefit of the destroyer energy of God. Refer to the article which talks about the Creation, Sustenance and Dissolution aspects of God. The saviour form of God is related to the Sustenance aspect of God. The destroyer aspect of God is related to the Dissolution aspect of God. That is why we feel pleasant when we move in the clockwise direction.

6.4 Practical application of the experiment in your life

From the above experiment we learn how positive frequencies are generated and enhanced within us when we move in a clockwise direction.

There are various applications of this phenomenon:

  1. Walking: When going for a walk during one’s exercise routine, if one is moving in a circular path then choose to walk in the clockwise direction rather than the anticlockwise direction.

  2. Spiritual cleansing of the house: When spiritually cleansing the home using incense sticks and Holy water, then move within the perimeter of the house in a clockwise manner.

  3. Method to find type of subtle energy: A person can use a pendulum and observe its movements to take the required reading. When the pendulum moves in a clockwise direction it indicates that the area has positive vibrations.

  4. Circumambulation: When in a temple, devotees circumambulate the Holy statue of the Lord or deity in a clockwise motion to imbibe the Divine saviour frequencies emanating from it.

In our own homes and lives, we can make an effort to as far as possible do as many relevant activities in the clockwise direction. This promotes positive energy within us.
