Terms and Conditions – SSRF Donations

The following are the terms and conditions that you (the donator) need to accept prior to making a donation to SSRF. If you do not accept them please do not use the donation facility of SSRF. By using the donation facility, you unconditionally accept the Terms and Conditions. Also, by using this website, you agree to the Terms of use for this website as mentioned in our ‘Terms of use’ section on the SSRF homepage.

1. Definitions

Donation The donation made by the donator
Donator The person, firm or company who intends to make or has made a donation to SSRF.
SSRF SSRF when used in this website stands for the Spiritual Science Research Foundation INC a non-profit organisation registered with the

  • Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) with ABN 49 119 742 291
  • state of New Jersey, USA (No: 0400176958)
  • Germany with Local Court, Siegburg, Register of associations no. VR 3766
  • and in Croatia with the Register of Associations of the Republic of Croatia under registration number 21012023

(hereinafter jointly referred to as “SSRF”).

SSRF member Any person who has an active SSRF member account provided by SSRF via the website.

2. General

2.1  In order to donate to SSRF you may register as an SSRF member or choose to donate without doing so.

2.2  By donating to SSRF you warrant that you are over 18 years.

2.3. SSRF accepts online donations by debit cards, credit cards or PayPal account through an electronic payment gateway.

2.4 By making this donation you warrant that the mechanism that you use (debit card, credit card, PayPal account or otherwise) is owned by you or you have permission to use it.

2.5 The subject of these terms is the donation amount from the donator to SSRF specified by the donator prior to making the donation.

2.6 Upon receipt of funds, SSRF commits to use these funds for the aims and activities of the organisation as stated in the Terms of Use.

2.7 You as the donator pledge not to seek any reciprocal favours from SSRF, on the basis of your donation.

2.8 Your decision to donate to SSRF is appreciated. Once a donation is made you shall not have the right to cancel it or ask for a partial or a full refund.

3. Tax exemption

3.1 SSRF USA is non-profit corporation, tax exempt under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of the United States of America (US). Donations made in US Dollars by US tax payers are tax-deductible to the full extent permitted by law.

3.2 In December 2020, SSRF Germany was registered as a non-profit tax-exempt organisation. This is in compliance with the statutory requirements according to §§ 51, 59, 60 and 61 AO determined by the tax office FA Siegburg, tax no. 220/5967/0728 according to § 60a AO. Accordingly, donors in Germany are able to claim tax exemption on their donations. SSRF will provide you with a receipt so that you can claim tax exemption on your donation. Currently, this facility is only available for donations made via bank transfer and not PayPal.

4. Disclaimer

4.1 Under no circumstances will the Spiritual Science Research Foundation (SSRF) be liable to you for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses or damages or loss of profits of whatever nature arising from the use of or access to, or inability to use or access the website, and also unauthorised access to or alterations of your transmissions or data.

4.2 We will do all we reasonably can to protect this site and all internet communications passing between us and you, but we cannot be held responsible for:

i. Any losses fairly attributable to your failure to take reasonably precautions to prevent interception of or interference with any such communications (including, without limitations) failure to use and keep up to date firewalls and anti-virus software on your own computer; or

ii. Any losses arising from fraudulent or unauthorised use of your credit or debit card or other forms of payment. If you become aware of fraudulent use or your card, or if it is lost or stolen, you should notify your card issuer or your bank/financial institution.

4.3 The liability for loss of any amount or an issue with regard to transfer of funds will lie with you.

4.4 If you have a problem with your donation, the SSRF Website team will try its best to help, but we take no responsibility to rectify the problem or retrieve any amount lost in the transfer of funds.
