Answer

One feels more pleasant when looking at Figure A than Figure B

Spiritual principle behind the answer

Since the vertical box is rising high and away from the earth, it has less of earth element and thus it has more sattva subtle component which stands for purity and knowledge, hence one feels good or pleasant when looking at it. The horizontal box is closer to the earth and hence closer to the earth element and thus has more amount of Tama component, which stands for ignorance or inertia. Hence one feels comparatively distressed when looking at it.
