Introduction to spiritual research studies
In 2008, SSRF embarked upon a long-term collaborative spiritual research project. The project differed from the usual method of spiritual research conducted by SSRF. This time, an array of biofeedback and other equipment was used to measure different variables in a set of controlled experiments. The results were then corroborated with explanations obtained through an advanced sixth sense. After a period of detailed experiments and later, analysis, the research findings are now ready for publication.

Spiritual research using a pendulum
In contrast to the efforts of an average dowser, who would be looking for something concrete such as a ground water or mineral source, or answers to questions on relationships, investments etc., SSRF's research using pendulum was focused on understanding the basic principles associated with dowsing as well as establishing basic principles associated with the subtle world or the spiritual dimension.

Introduction to spiritual research using a pendulum
To achieve our research objective, we explored various variables related to dowsing. We complemented our analysis with input from the SSRF subtle-knowledge section. This article explains how we went about our spiritual research using a pendulum. Read more...
Comparative study of dowsing an object using a pendulum by seekers with and without negative energy distress (PEN-01)
In this study we conducted an experiment to examine a spiritual variable against the results of dowsing with a pendulum. We compared the dowsing of an object by two seekers - one with and one without negative energy distress. Read more...

Spiritual research using the electrosomatographic technique
The electrosomatographic technique entails use of equipment that measures the body’s electrical activity, using the same principles underlying the well-known EEG and ECG machines. We used the DDFAO equipment that applies this technique to the entire body, to record an ElectroSomatoGram (or an ESG). SSRF has used this equipment to study the effects of various stimuli on the Kundalini chakrās in the body. An example of these experiments is the study of the effect of consuming non-vegetarian and vegetarian food on a person’s Kundalini chakrās. We also studied the effect of other stimuli from our day-to-day life such as beverages, clothes, the music we listen to, Reiki treatment, prayer, chanting, company of Saints etc. Forty experiments on 200 seekers from around the world recorded a total of 4000 readings.

Introduction to spiritual research using the electrosomatographic techique
This article explains the basic methodology employed by SSRF to compare the effect of 2 variants of the same stimulus in each experiment. The subjects of our experiments were categorised as those who have negative energy distress and those who do not. Analysis of the readings provided by the DDFAO equipment at regular intervals was later complemented with subtle-analysis performed by our subtle-knowledge section. Read more...
Comparative study of the effect of consuming non-vegetarian and vegetarian food using the electrosomatographic method (DDFAO-01)
In this study we exposed seekers with and without negative energy distress to non-vegetarian and vegetarian food. We studied the effect of these stimuli on their Kunḍalinī chakrās using the DDFAO equipment. Read more...

Comparative study of the effect of celebrating birthday by waving a lit lamp and by cutting a cake (DDFAO-02)
In this study we celebrated the birthday of a child seeker by waving a lit ghee-lamp in front of him. We studied the effect of this stimulus on his Kunḍalinī chakrās using the DDFAO equipment. We then repeated this process after he had cut a cake on his birthday as per the Roman calendar. Read more...

Comparative study of the effect of holding a lit candle and a lit ghee-lamp using the electrosomatographic technique (DDFAO-03)
In this experiment we studied the effect of holding a lit candle and holding a lit ghee-lamp in hand for 10 minutes each on the Kunḍalinī chakrās of 10 seekers using the DDFAO equipment. Read more...
How to dress? The sari and the skirt (DDFAO-04)

Spiritual research with polycontrast interference photography (PIP)
Polycontrast interference photography (PIP) equipment uses a technology similar to the well-known Kirlian Photography. It is able to study aspects and changes of the energy field, that is, the aura on and around people and objects. The details about the energy field (Aura) associated with the object/subject are presented to us in the form of pictures. We used this technique to study the energy fields on and around seekers at various stages of spiritual evolution, objects used by Saints, pictures of Deities etc.

Comparative study of a commercial picture of Deity Shiva and a picture made by seekers using the PIP technique (PIP-01)
In this study we compared the status of positivity of the picture of Deity Shiva made by artist seekers under the guidance of H.H. Dr. Athavale with a commercial picture of Deity Shiva using the PIP technique. Read more...

Here we give SSRF's commentary on the limitations of using equipment in spiritual research.

Commentary on the limitations of equipment used in modern research
Over the course of our spiritual research using modern equipment, subtle analysis showed that at times, the underlying reasons for two similar readings provided by the equipment were diametrically opposite. However, the modern scientific world recognises similar readings as similar events. From this perspective, SSRF explains the limitation of scientific equipment in research and as diagnostic tools in day-to-day life. Read more...
