The knowledge gained through spiritual research conducted by the SSRF over the past 20 years if printed on paper would fill over 50,000 A4 size pages of printed matter. Extensive video footage on various spiritual phenomena has shot. Eventually we will be making documentaries to show the world how the spiritual dimension affects our lives. Even though there is a significant cost in procuring and cataloguing this knowledge, all this information is being made available free of cost and is benefiting people worldwide overcome various problems. Various case studies are being made available on the website.
SSRF is run entirely by volunteers. 95% of our volunteers are professionals like doctors, managers, IT administrators, accountants etc., working free-of-charge as their spiritual practice for the spread of Spirituality.
The activities to maintain SSRF include:
-
Spiritual research – looking after seekers acquiring and cataloguing knowledge
-
Equipment: SSRF is currently in the process of building a new studio and upgrading its video equipment
-
Versatile equipment: Our shoots happen both indoor in a studio and outdoor. Thus we need cameras that are versatile and can be used for both locations. For this we also require a specialized vehicle that can be used for the safe and efficient transport of equipment. Steadycam, trolley and cranes are of immense use in making shots visually more appealing.
-
Multi‐cam set up: A large percentage of our shoots are done in a multi‐camera online set up which demands a unique set of equipment. However this also helps in reducing our edit time and getting information out faster.
-
New studio auxiliary requirements: Building a studio is no easy task and we would need help in various auxiliary systems such as silent air‐conditioning systems, UPS systems, cabling, sound proofing, sets and backdrops, etc.
-
Full HD: As the world makes a transition towards full HD and a 16:9 aspect ratio, television channels will increasingly demand this type of format from us. As a result our equipments and workflow would need to support this format.
-
Tapeless media and storage: Moving to a tapeless environment will allow us to archive video in an uncompressed format. However this will also require vast amount of disk and storage space with back up and disaster recovery arrangements to protect this unique video footage and knowledge base.
-
Special effects: There is an increasing demand more visualization of the spiritual dimension that have been drawn by seekers who can see into the subtle just as we see the physical realm. For this we will need more powerful editing systems to produce these special effects.
-
-
Writing articles – the knowledge acquired is in a very cryptic format that needs to be presented in a manner that can be understood by an international audience.
-
Running a full-time website team: Running a website is quite expensive both from a technical and editorial point of view.
-
Conducting workshops/lectures: SSRF conducts free workshops on various topics in Spirituality in more than 15 cities across the globe.
-
Various administrative functions: This includes accounting etc.
