Our spiritual journey can sometimes be fraught with obstacles. These obstacles can be at a psychological level or spiritual level creating impediments in our spiritual growth. For example, ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies, etc.) can cause family problems which could throw us off balance and leave our spiritual practice to attend to it. On the other hand a personality defect of anger erupting over a small incident can undo any peace of mind gained after attending a spiritual discourse.
